Yuki Hayashi was born and raised in Okayama, Japan, in 1983. Hayashi has enjoyed a busy career as a freelance videographer for decades, and has always been interested in artists as subject. He seeks for a new approach to capture what happens when artists cross – or cannot cross – borders and boundaries. And he decided to shoot the whole movie on compact cameras and smart phones to capture the unintended moments of subjects.
Kinosaki Days may be Yuki Hayashi’s first feature-length documentary.
